A historic grape variety, a symbol not only of regional tradition but above all of Italian winemaking. In 1987, Albana di Romagna was the first white wine to obtain DOCG status, the highest recognition for an Italian wine. 

Winemaking

The grapes, selected in the vineyard and harvested by hand in small crates, are delicately placed in the press.
Fermentation at controlled temperature.
Maturation on lees varies between 180 and 240 days.
Aged in bottle for 4 to 5 months.

COLOR

Intense yellow, enriched by precious golden reflections.

Aroma

Elegant, intense and persistent, complex citrus and spicy hints in a happy combination with notes of tropical fruits and warm honeyed notes.

Taste

Sumptuous, it explodes in a play of flavors. A subtle minerality brings together the flavors of yellow apricots, acacia honey, and almond paste.
